Our first ever Writer's Round - Hosted by Lorena, featuring some incredible songwriters - Lorena, Katrina Cain, Tyler Edwards, and Tim McNary.
ABOUT LORENA:
From the backroads of South Austin comes Lorena. A new trio channeling the golden age of ’70s folk-rock and country through a modern Americana lens. With lush harmonies, intricate guitar work, and songwriting that feels both dusty and familiar, Lorena blurs the line between past and present. Their debut single is releasing in June 2026 with much more to come.
ABOUT KATRINA:
Hailing from the vibrant city of Austin, Katrina Cain is a Texas-rooted artist with a voice shaped by the open road. Born in Dallas and raised across many statelines, she grew up without a hometown, and that search for belonging runs deep through her songwriting. Now finding herself at home in Austin, Katrina's sound captures the raw truth of Americana with the polished grit of modern country.
ABOUT TYLER:
Beginning his career in 2008, Tyler wrote and performed with his college rock band in South Carolina. After releasing two EPs and an LP, the band had multiple songs breaking the Top 10 on Billboard's Rock Charts and music featured on MTV and NASCAR. In 2015, Edwards launched his solo career with a 6-song EP, “Too Young for Love” and relocated to Seattle, Washington.
ABOUT TIM:
Tim McNary is a world traveled, pentecostal church raised Indie Folk artist with a connective, cinematic sensibility and energy similar to artists like Ben Howard, Foy Vance, or Leif Vollebek. Accolade wise, he's had many film and tv placements, written with recognized songwriters, and toured extensively around the United States and Canada.
