ABOUT DIRTY DANCING:
Dirty Dancing follows 17-year-old Frances “Baby” Houseman during a summer vacation with her family at a Catskills resort. Baby becomes drawn to charismatic dance instructor Johnny Castle and the secret world of the resort’s working-class dancers. When Johnny’s dance partner faces a personal crisis, Baby steps in to learn the routines, sparking a passionate romance between them. Their relationship challenges Baby’s sheltered worldview and creates tension with her family. Through dance, love, and rebellion, Baby finds her confidence and independence, culminating in an iconic final performance that proves nobody puts Baby in a corner.
